About the United Way of Albany County
What we do
The United Way of Albany County represents 15 non-profit agencies operating in the Albany County area. We raise and allocate funds that help these agencies serve the community.
Your Donation
Your donation is allocated to our member agencies. Often times, this money is used to match grant funds, making your charitable dollar twice as effective. 99% of your donations stay in Albany County.

Our goal is to help people achieve satisfactory fulfillment.
UWAC seeks, through planning, fund raising, allocations and cooperation with member agencies, to bring about and maintain a balance between human service needs and resources.
