Volunteer

 

Volunteer this tax season to help low and moderate income wage earners file free income tax returns.

 

No Experience Necessary. Complete training provided for the Albany County Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service.

Training dates:

January 31 or February 1. 8am-4pm.

No previous tax preparation experience is necessary…

After you have completed training, you will be asked to volunteer 8-24 hours during the tax season starting early February and ending April 15th.  Volunteer sessions will take place Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 4-8 pm and Saturdays from 1pm-5pm.
